I'm not a new user but used to post regularly on the energy board.

I 'switched' to this tariff on Tuesday, but I've heard nothing from E.on so I rang them today. They said they would ring me back before 5.00pm but they haven't. I received the 'switching' email from the CEC but no acknowledgement from E.on.

They are refusing to honour a tariff which doesn't exit on their site. I told them it never was and never will be on their site as its a MSE Cheap Energy Club tariff.

Does anyone have this tariff up and running? E.on to E.on switches are normally up and running the same day, I've found.

I wish to complain to Martin Lewis, the CEC and an Eon rep.

You are still currently advertising something E.on has no intention of 'honouring'.

This needs sorting out at the top.

I switched to this on Wednesday with no issues via MSE - had the confirmation email from EON within the hour, and also the "sorry you're leaving" from my current supplier.

My mom also switched to this via MSE - first time it said it was rejected (email from MSE) but gave no reason. Retried the next day and that also went through successfully the second time same details with the new EON email and current supplier "sorry you're leaving" emails soon afterwards.

Same I have applied and just been completely ignored. Anyone that has been accepted seems to have done so within a matter or hours. I think generally the difference is that people actually switching from other suppliers were rapidly accepted, but people switching from other Eon tariffs like me have been ignored. Although I have seen one person say they successfully switched from Eon to Eon. Since there is another fix now available, at this point I just want an answer one way or the other so even if it's a no when I try to switch again there won't be one already pending.

Thanks. That's what I would have expected.

Maybe I should try switching again?

Applied yesterday evening. Welcome email from E.ON very quickly confirming my switch date of 10 March. EDF "sorry to see you go email" about 30 mins after that. I also was able to set up an account on the E.ON site. All seems positive so far.

I've just gone onto CEC to see if I could initiate the switch again.

It's now been pulled after i've spoken to them and its now Fixed 15 m v8 with increased prices, naturally.

I stand no chance of them honouring my switch from Tuesday now another tariff is available.

It still says I have a switch in progress on the CEC but nothing from E.on.

    Help, Martin Lewis

Still, I have the last laugh as it was going to cost me alot more than the tariff I'm currently on. 🙃

I'm an eon customer as you can see above I've tried 3 times to switch to this tariff!! Called eon multiple times…no joy. Clearly they're trying to hoover up new customers from other suppliers whilst existing customers are just ignored. Its a disgrace.

Please MSE can you look into this?

    It's disgraceful.

I doubt MSE cares. Need to go to the Energy Ombudsman and appear on the Big Cheeses show and call him out.

As the examples of customers from other suppliers above show eon have fallen over themselves to swiftly onboard these new customers whilst long standing customers such as myself have been repeated stonewalled. Multiple eon reps over the phone have denied all knowledge of this tariff yet new accounts have been fast tracked in.

    It stinks.

This is still showing in the CEC. I wonder where I stand legally?
