Job change-pensions advice?

hiya.
Early retired with an ill health pension in ‘17. Been working since NI up to date and due a full state pension.
52 now and embarking on a new career with stagecoach as a bus driver.
I understand they’re pension recently changed but don’t know much about it. Looking to work 15 more years but concerned about my best options.
advice welcomed

Obvious "advice" is not to opt out but the info and what you are after is a bit on the light side.

New hires are offered membership of a defined contribution pension scheme. You'll be given details of the scheme which applies to you and need to read that to see what exactly is on offer.

If you join, you'll have the benefit of employer contributions. If you don't join, you'll miss out on what is often described as 'free money' (albeit employees generally have to contribute themselves in order to take advantage of employer contributions).

Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!

Is the ill health pension impacted if you go back to work?
