The Debt-Free Journey Begins....

Good morning all,

I've looked through these forums for some years and taken lots of good ideas and inspiration from other users. So thank you.

But now it's time I actually hold myself accountable for my own messy finances and lock in to becoming debt free and on the right track to live a much easier life financially.

I'm in my forties, have a teenage daughter who's about to leave school and don't feel confident for the future in terms of finances and being able to support my daughter.

I work full time but tend to live off credit cards as I've fallen into the rut of paying the minimum which is now quite high, so there's not much left to live on. It's a vicious circle and I must escape it.

I'm hoping that by posting my journey and talking about it will help me to be more responsible and to face the issues I have head on.

Hi! I joined this forum a little over a year ago now and it's helped me so much! I would recommend perhaps starting a diary on the diary threads - I don't post on mine everyday but it has been helpful to hold myself accountable, and to ask for advice when needed!
