Just keep it. HMRC may ask for evidence but it's probably one in a billion chance of that as they will no doubt have the exact same information from HL reporting the income (and tax deducted) under the Real Time Information system.

Thanks for the response - slightly baffled by the part saying "it is too late to reclaim it via the Govt Gateway or paper now" because as I said, I am going to reclaim it via my self assessment tax return for 2025-26 and obvs the earliest I can do that is on 6th April 2026.
But cheers for confirming that I don't need to give HMRC a copy, and that they already have the data. Yes, I will enter the figures on my self-assessment return. 👍️
