Im lookin for 1st birthday or verse please help

Were do u look tryed searching google with no joy

Would like to make a card or a poem like card its for my neice
Any help would be greatly appeciated please

I'm looking for the same thing myself..........but in advance, grandson isn't one until June but I know what I'm like if I leave it too long.

What I did when he was born was write a letter, welcoming him to the strange world we live in, telling him to expect grown ups to behave in stange manner saying 'oooos and aaahhhs' , longing for him to talk then wishing he'd be quiet, etc. Can't remember what else I said. His Mum and Dad have kept it for him. If I find a site with something on I'll pop it on the thread.

Had a quick 'google' for 'Babies Poems' and came across this site among quite a few

There's some quite nice ones on here I thought. Failing that, try googling 'baby's 1st birthday' and see what comes up.
I found one I'd printed out for my grandson when I was shuffling some papers this morning but its really a Baby's Prayer................can't remember where I got it from though. I did a sort of scrapbook when he was born and put all sorts of things in it.

I've got a book of 'verses for cards' as I like to make my own. They only had one suggestion for a first birthday card and this is it:

I love the second one - I wanted something to give to my neice as a special present - she has loads of clothes and toys she will probably never play with, so I am going to do her a painting with these words as the centre - hope it comes out OK...
