Calculator: is a Travelcard still worth it for your Tube commute?
A calculator that works out whether pay as you go, a weekly Travelcard, monthly, or annual season ticket is cheapest for your Tube/Overground/Elizabeth line commute.
You put in your zones, how many days you commute, peak or off-peak, number of journeys, whether you travel at weekends, and it compares all four options side by side with annual costs.
Useful if you're hybrid working 2-3 days and wondering if a Travelcard is still worth it
Uses the March 2026 TfL fares which are coming on Sunday
Pay as you go seems to be best for me still
