Who can I pay for professional advice on debt management?
I’m a contractor operating through a limited company. I currently have unsecured debt which is being consolidated via a proposed mortgage further advance, and I also have overdue Self Assessment tax to manage.
I’d like guidance on whether the further advance is the right strategic decision and help building a structured 12–24 month plan covering cash flow, debt reduction, and tax provision planning going forward.
I’m looking for holistic planning support rather than product advice but financial advisors don't want to help, who can I pay for professional advice?

Available debt options as well as support and advice, is a service offered free to business users by Business debtline:

The rest of the free debt advice charities do not deal with the self employed.

Do not take out a mortgage to pay off unsecured debt. The tax is the priority. Speak to the tax office about a plan to repay. Normally self employed pay an accountant to deal with tax planning, cash flow etc not an IFA.
