The Prize
One winner will receive:
- 🚆 2 x First Class return rail tickets to Nottingham, courtesy of East Midlands Railway
- 🏨 An overnight stay for two with breakfast at The Orchard Hotel, Nottingham
- 🍽 Dinner for two at Bramleys Restaurant, the hotel’s award-winning dining spot
- 🏛 Two tickets to the National Justice Museum, located in Nottingham’s historic Lace Market

- Competition Launch: 5th February 2026
- Competition closes: 13th March 2026
- Open to adults aged 18+
- One entry per person
- Winner will be contacted by Visit Nottinghamshire via email or phone.
- The prize is not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability.
- Prize must be claimed within 48 hours or it will be offered to another entrant
- The prize is non-exchangeable. No cash alternative is available
- Visit Nottinghamshire will never ask for bank details or payment to confirm a prize
- By ticking the ‘Third Parties’ box on the entry form, you agree to be contacted by Visit Nottinghamshire's trusted partners
- Visit Nottinghamshire reserves the right to amend or withdraw the competition at any time
- Any additional food, drinks, travel (outside of the included rail tickets), accommodation upgrades, or extras not listed above must be paid for by the competition winner.

EMR, rail tickets T&Cs:
- Tickets and First Class travel are only valid on EMR Intercity train services.
- If all or part of a winner’s journey requires travel on an EMR Regional or EMR Connect service, appropriate alternative tickets will be provided.
- EMR is not responsible for arranging travel for any part of a winner’s journey that is not on an EMR train service.
- Tickets must be redeemed by 31 March 2026, and travel must take place before 30 September 2026.
- Tickets are subject to availability and seat reservations are not available.
- Tickets will be supplied as e-tickets.
- Tickets are non-exchangeable, non-transferrable and non-replaceable.
Hotel and Restaurant T&Cs

What is Nottingham famous for?
I couldn't find a definitive answer so plumped for Robin Hood but could be Lace making, Raleigh, Castle, caves, that football team, etc etc

I agree with you re: Robin Hood. But my husband would argue that the answer is Warhammer World 🙄😄
