small pot claim

hi all i need some small pot advice please i can have a pcls sum of £5,923.05 with a annumand of £888.46 total pot is £8,770 i closed another small pot i had worth £4.900.74 less tax october 2025 one and final payment . what does "annumand" mean and do i declare the £4900 as LSA OR LSDBA any help really appreciated thank you

    That sounds like a typo as not something I have ever heard of. I suspect it refers to an annual pension based on your post.

    Is this second pension a defined benefit given it refers to PCLS which is normally used to refer to defined benefit pension. If it is defined benefit and has PCLS plus 888 pa then you can't use small pots.

    Are you sure "annumand" isn't "annum" "and" with a missing space?

    With a DB Scheme there is a trivial pension lump sum. The rules are not the same as for small pots though.

  • Thank you for all your replys its really appreciated can anybody recommend an adviser i can go to as tbh its all a bit over my head im in Reading Berkshire happy to pay no problem. just need somebody with the knowledge so they can go through the paperwork for me its only 5 sheets of paper thanks again all 🙂

    I am afraid a financial advisor would probably not be interested if £50K was involved, never mind just £5K .

    Or the fee would probably half the amount even if they did advise you.
