Paid gaps in N.I a year ago, still not updated.
I was living abroad in the late 90s til 2010 so I had some NI gaps. After proving I lived in Spain I was allowed to pay 3 missing years which totalled to £450, paid this online then called them at the time in Feb25 and they confirmed payment had been accepted.
Just checked and still not updated online a year later?!
Is this normal after the deadline?
What number can I call??

Mine took 11 months, similar situation to you…. I actually went via the on line chat and insisted the issue was escalated, not sure what they did but within a day or so the updates were there….. They were wrong of course! Back onto the web chat and the advisor apologized, promised to have them corrected and all was done about 2 days later.
Bottom line is keep pushing, whilst they are busy, overloaded and perhaps not as efficient as they could be, almost a year is frustrating long.0
