Currys retailer, bought goods online, no receipt issued

I recently purchased a new washing machine from Currys online.

Shortly after making the order I realised my email was missing a letter, my mistake and I'll own that. I contacted Currys ' customer services' within an hour or so of placing the order. This is so I could get my receipt for the goods to then give to my landlord.

I was told that it would take 2 working days to rectify and sent to me.

This was on the 30th January 2026, still nothing?

In the meantime I have rung customer services a least four times requesting my receipt be emailed whilst confirming the correct email, made a formal complaint on and on it goes.

How can I get my receipt to give to my landlord?

How can something so simple be so hard to rectify…..

Just show the landlord the transaction history from the bank or credit card that you used to pay with along with a photo of the new machine.

Edit: As you are the purchaser why does the landlord need the receipt?

They have no rights regarding the purchase.

The landlord paid for replacement washing machine, which I ordered through Currys on my credit card.

Landlord sent money to me for purchase I made online so needs receipt for their accounts.

Maybe the landlord asked the OP to prcocure a new washing machine, and will pay them back
