TopCashback

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had any issues with using TopCashback when booking BA Holidays and getting the cashback.

The holiday was end of August and I have chased the cashback but it's the usual 'we are waiting on the retailer'.

It has tracked but still pending.

I feel as if TopCashback don't take any accountability and fob us off with blaming the retailer.

What's the point if we don't get the payments on the majority of occasions?

I see I'm not the only one that has issues with Just Eat and Argos.

Why do they continue to advertise these companies if they're not towing the line and annoying their members?

Thank you

Some take ages. I bought currency from John Lewis last June, and only got the cashback in January. It took a long while before pending became confirmed, and several more weeks before it was payable.

Do the TCB reviews usugget that anyone has been successful?

I haven't seen any reviews specifically to do with BA but I've seen a few negative reviews about Just Eat and Argos.

I recall having a perfectly valid Argos purchase for £70 rejected. Very annoying.

I've avoided car rentals before now as the reviews weren't good.

I also had problems with BA Holidays, mine stated pending then confirmed. Its took many many months to get the cashback, but I did get it. I contacted customer service every 2 weeks.

    Hi all

I am starting to have a few weird issues recently with TCB.

Firstly, whilst no a pro of course I am fully aware of the way to ensure transactions get tracked. I use a separate browser from normal, ad blocker turned off etc. Most transactions track without issue. Have been using the site for many years.

Recently have had a few not track, which is a bit odd in itself but been able to submit claims. All good. Maybe they will payout, have had reasonable success with claims on TCB.

Recently, I have also had one transaction changed after it tracked. The cashback was one of their Mega Cashback offers, so much higher than normal (35%). The transaction initially tracked ok but a few days later was reduced to a random amount about a quarter of the original transaction. There is no reason at all for this, other than to reduce the cashback payable! This claim is currently ongoing... its with the retailer but I think it might have been changed by TCB. This has never happened before and I can only think this is because the cashback was a reasonable amount. Do TCB want to pocket most of the cash they will receive?

Also recently, I did a transaction on a day where there was another Mega Cashback offer for a different retailer than the one mentioned above. This time the transaction tracked but was immediately declined, I mean within minutes... I didn't even see it as only tracked, although of course it did track ok. How can this be? No-one could possibly have manually reviewed it that quickly. In any event it was a completely valid transaction, was not changed or cancelled and no code etc was used. It has not even been delivered yet! Really odd.

I can only think this is being auto declined due to the large cashback amount (25%). I am getting suspicious now... make me think they declined so they can keep all the cash from the retailer!!

Anyway, some very strange things happening at TCB, been great for years now there are issues starting to occur. Has anyone else has similar issues?

    Matt

I have - for the last few years most of my purchases haven't tracked and I have to chase them up a few weeks later, despite clearing my cache and cookies, using Google Chrome instead of Edge etc. - at the moment I'm waiting for an Argos purcase from January to clear - my account keeps saying it's going to take something like 16 weeks.
