I sold an old bracelet for £520 via Hatton Garden Metals. It was some years ago, but was quick and easy.

At the moment they would be paying you £292 for your ring. A traditional High Street jeweller (not a chain/franchise) would probably offer more than a pawnbroker.

I used Hatton Garden Metals in London in January. They have a web site updated daily. You can visit in person or use their postal service. Best prices, highly recommended.

I used a local jewelers to sell some old and mainly broken gold jewelry. I nearly fell off my chair when they offered me £1,100 as I was expecting around £500. Pawn brokers are not the best option. I'd suggest trying a few jewelers first and then get a few quotes from online retailers and pick the best
