Fidelity workplace pension (PlanViewer)

For Fidelity workplace pension, my employer (not them) going to set it up with our workplace email addresses, but I'd prefer to use my personal email address, as for correspondence and less messing about if future leaving.

Does anyone know if it can be changed after creation?

I presume so, as every organisation is going to get requests from time to time to change e mail addresses, phone numbers etc .

I can't see any system being designed not to allow a change of email address after it's set up, but that's just an opinion.

well rather than copilot or google AI overview text trying to make things up, found on https://retirement.fidelity.co.uk/check-and-update-my-contact-details/

After you log in to PlanViewer, you can scroll to the 'Update personal information' tile where you will find the 'Personal information' page. From here, you can click to edit: 

• Telephone Number 
• Mobile Number 
• Personal Email Address 
• Date Selected for Retirement 

home address might not be editable though

My Fidelity PlanViewer accounts under My Profile has two entries, Personal Email Address (editable) and Work Email Address (non-editable)

There has to be a way to add home email addresses - work ones are useless once you've left the firm as many of us do at some point.

For quite a lot of websites your user name is an email address. Is that true here? If so and if it is your work email is it possible to change the user name?

So at least if you edit the personal email to the one you use privately, they will have a way to contact you if you leave the company.

Sometimes there is a way of choosing what details are used to contact you (preferences?)
