WIN A MACBOOK AIR COMPETITION

1. ELIGIBILITY:

1.1. This competition is open to individuals aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.

1.2. Due to regulatory, legal and/or operational limitations, this competition is not open to citizens and/or residents of Brazil, Canada, Florida, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New York, Rhode Island, Singapore, Spain, or any other jurisdiction in which this competition is prohibited or cannot legally take place.

1.3. Entrants are responsible for ensuring that participation in this competition is lawful in the jurisdiction in which they are citizens and/or residents. VAT IT reserves the right to disqualify entries from jurisdictions where local laws prohibit participation.

1.4. Employees, consultants, agents and/or contractors of VAT IT (including immediate family members), its subsidiaries, holding companies and/or affiliates are not eligible to participate in this competition.

1.5. Any breach of these Terms and Conditions by an entrant will result in the immediate disqualification of such entrant from the competition.

2. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

2.1. To enter, participants must locate the hidden VAT icon on the VAT IT website and submit their details via the official entry form. No purchase is necessary in order to enter this competition.

2.2. Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries or entries using different email addresses for the same individual will be disqualified.

2.3. Entries must be submitted before the competition end date set out below.

3. COMPETITION DURATION:

3.1. This competition runs from 15 January 2026 to 5 February 2026. Entries received outside of this period will not be eligible.

4. WINNER SELECTION:

4.1. One winner will be selected via a random draw from all valid entries.

4.2. The draw will take place within 3 calendar days after the competition end date.

4.3. VAT IT’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into in this regard.

5. PRIZE:

5.1. 1 (one) MacBook Air | Apple M4 Chip | 256GB.

5.2. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or other alternatives.

5.3. VAT IT reserves the right to substitute the aforementioned prize with an item of equal or greater value if necessary.

5.4. Any taxes, duties, or levies applicable to the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

6. WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT AND NOTIFICATION:

6.1. The winner will be announced on VAT IT’s official social media channels and notified via the email address provided during entry.

6.2. If the winner does not respond within 7 (seven) calendar days from the date that VAT IT sends the notification email, VAT IT reserves the right to conduct a further random draw from all valid entries and select an alternate winner.

7. FAIR PLAY:

7.1. Automated entries, bots, scripts, or any fraudulent activity will result in immediate disqualification.

7.2. VAT IT reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify entries that do not comply with these Terms & Conditions and/or applicable laws.

8. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION:

8.1. By entering into this competition, the entrant consents to VAT IT processing their personal data for the purposes of administering this competition (including winner selection, announcement and prize delivery) as well as for marketing and promotional purposes, including contacting entrants with offers, updates and information about VAT IT’s service offering, in accordance with applicable data protection laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

8.2. Entrants may withdraw consent or opt out of marketing at any time by following the instructions in our Privacy Policy or contacting us directly.

9. LIABILITY:

9.1. VAT IT is not responsible for technical issues, lost entries, or any failure in relation to this competition beyond its reasonable control.

9.2. VAT IT shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in this competition or acceptance of the prize, except where caused by VAT IT’s gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

9.3. VAT IT does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the competition website and is not liable for any technical failures beyond its control.

10. GOVERNING LAW:

10.1. These Terms & Conditions and this competition are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

11. RIGHT TO AMEND OR CANCEL

11.1. VAT IT reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions or cancel this competition at its own discretion at any time without prior notice if circumstances make this unavoidable.

Try using googlemail.com as in the above quote instead of gmail. I used my other email address which is gmx.us

I tried using googlemail, in full, and hotmail, but got the same message with both.

EDIT: I've also tried yahoo, with the same result.

Tried 3 email address's and not allowed so not bothering, yahoo, gmail ( yes I tried googlemail ) and hotmail, not got any others.
