Can I join in again after quite a considerable lapse of time. Spending has got a little out of control and needs to be bought back in line. I've quite a lot of stuff in the freezers and cupboards so with a bit of planning and organising I think £250 should cover food and cleaning. Frugality is the name of the game in Feb. Thanks
£250 for Feb please

again; it's a 4-week month, no guests particularly expected (but we shall see!) so generally feeding & cleaning up after 3 adults, 2 of them with special but different dietary requirements (OH: heart-friendly & myself: gut-friendly, high fibre & ferments) & the 3rd a pescatarian. (General aside: I believe that heart-friendly & gut-friendly are basically the same thing, but OH's medical advisors are very much on the low-fat wagon, which unfortunately seems to involve lots of ultra-processed stuff...well, we are all different.)

Hi,
Please put me down for £400 in February.
We are aware for a week over half term (a much needed break to the sunshine of Lanzarote) where all food etc is included in my holiday budget. I have not adjusted my grocery budget as I am going to do a Musclefood order and use the spare from being aware to cover that cost which will see me through with meat for a while.
(this covers me, DD and any toiletries, cleaning products that get bought with the food shop - focusing on meal planning for the month ahead and only buying what's needed this year)

Evening all,
Thank you for the new thread @JingsMyBucket
I've been struggling with what my Feb budget should be 🤔 it's a shorter month and we're away for a week in an all inclusive hotel. No food planning or cooking for a week, bliss.
Having said that we are running low on a few staples. We will need another 10kg bag of rice, washing tabs, lentils, tinned items, seasonings etc. We are also entertaining on the weekend so that always costs more.
I think £350 seems like a sensible amount with another £50 for laundry and toiletries. This is for four adults and two growing children.

Hello to everyone and special thanks to Jings for the new thread.
May I please try to climb back on the wagon again after falling off repeatedly last year. Looking at my receipts for January made me gulp rather and so here I am trying to rein my impulse buying in again, older and possibly wiser. My cupboards, fridge and freezer are all bulging so I'm going to try very hard to use up what I have this month.
Please could you put me down for
