Some of us can whip up a flavourful feast without breaking a sweat while others might struggle to boil an egg. Be honest now: how would you rate your culinary skills?

It's fresh and has more protein, vitamins etc than ready meals.
Some things I cook better than others but there's always wine to help 😊

I am reasonably good, I can cook and bake most things. None of it is actually that hard though, there are recipes, guides and videos online for nearly everything, the key is prepping first and making sure I have enough time.

Depends who you ask. I taught myself to cook when I left home at 17 (40 years ago now). Mum and Dad don’t like my food because they don’t eat anything except very traditional meat and 2 veg. My friends on the other hand have told me they enjoy my self-developed Mediterranean-style dishes.

I have been told that the limited items in my repertoire are edible, but I take no pleasure whatsoever in cooking, so it will always be purely out of necessity / desparation.

My wife however is a very keen, and very good, cook that loves to try new and unusal dishes from all around the world. However she has no interest in investments / DIY / or financial planning. So we both gladly stick to our own household contributions by mutual agreement! 😂

I've never had any complaints so I'm either a good cook or family know better than to criticise!  :D
Be kind to others and to yourself too.

I used to be a good cook in a fairly conventional omni approach but then went vegan which meant relearning to cook from scratch. Now vegetarian, I would say I’m an okay cook and a little more adventurous than I used to be with more techniques to hand to try new methods and flavour combinations.
