I don’t know if this might help with budgeting but it’s an area I really struggle with. A few months ago I decided to work out how much I had per week rather than monthly. I now put my months money into a savings account and ‘pay’ myself my weekly amount every Friday. I started off withdrawing and paying in cash so I could see exactly how much I had and have no moved to using a Monzo with no option to go into an overdraft or anything.

The weekly money has helped for sure - when I have nothing left by Weds it’s only a couple of days before I next pay myself and that’s been working
