Still waiting for a callback to pay voluntary NIC?

Hello,

I’m just wondering if anyone else is still waiting for a callback to pay voluntary National Insurance contributions? I applied back in March 2025 and got a message to say I was on the list and to await a callback, but still haven’t heard anything.

The website still says “If you used the call back request form to pay voluntary National Insurance contributions, you do not need to contact the helpline. DWP Retirement Services will contact you” and if I try to call the Future Pensions Centre it says “if you registered before the date you don’t need to call us unless you’ve received a text or a call back from us” but it has been ten months now and I’m nervous.

I came here to see if anyone else is in the same boat, expecting to find lots of discussion about it, but there’s very little, and nothing for several months (unless I’m looking in the wrong place). Which makes me even more nervous so I thought I’d start a new post to see if it really is just me! Anyone else still waiting for a callback?
