Hi. If you scroll half way down to the images, then a couple of them show that there are 3x 3pin sockets on the device. So whilst not whole house backup, you can still power important devices. Assuming of course the max surge power output is high enough for a freezer, which I think can hit ~3,000W for a fraction of a second?

Yes, it's called Locked Rotor Amps (LRA), there will be a very short surge at startup of anything that uses a compressor motor such as a fridge, freezer, ASHP, dehumidifier etc. For example, the spec sheet of my PW3 battery tells me it can support 185 LRA (amps), which would be the equivalent of 42.5kW (230v x 185A) peak surge. The spec sheet may state a value for LRA which will typically be far higher than the sustained peak output rating of the device. Most decent 2-3kW battery devices should be able to cope with a regular fridge freezer starting and stopping, but may not cope with something larger like an ASHP.
