HMRC reminders

Here is an image of the HMRC email. I submitted my tax return on 06 April 2025. I still get unrelenting email reminders with a threat of penalty in every email. The teabag thing is a further insult.

I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".

That sounds like a AI description of an image.

Are you sure its an email from HMRC?

On my email reminders from HMRC I'm sure they mentioned an option to turn off reminders for the current tax year.

But I don't really read them, just delete.

This is correct, you can turn the emails off. There's a link at the bottom of the email to do it.

All of these emails could be a scam. Thank you. I am checking.

Thank you so much. I feel a bit stupid now, but I suspect that about half of my HMRC emails are fraudulent.

They appear to map through to hmrc DOT imicampaign DOT UK

My various anti-spam tools have not intervened.

Was that image meant to support your conclusion that the emails are scam/spam?  At least some of the subjects and sender addresses seem to correlate with genuine ones I've received, but if you've examined header data in more detail and found "hmrc DOT imicampaign DOT UK" that's a different matter?

HMRC says that it never addresses an email as "Dear Customer" yet I have emails addressed "Dear Customer" that appear to be bona fide. [Transaction reference partly redacted by me]

    Oh, they most definitely do.

And, the imicampaign is actually a legit external email provider.
