Deferred uk pension .now abrad malaysia

Am 78 yrs old. Abroad in malaysia.  Worked in uk from 1978 to 1985. Possibly contributed for 5 to 6 years. Just realised maybe entitled to uk pension. On return to malaysia worked full time until aged 70. So is it possible for me to top up to at least 10 yrs. And as am only now trying to start the process at aged 78. Where shall I start.

Is there a particular reason you want to get to 10 years?

So born 1947 ish and assuming male reached state retirement around 2012 under the 2010 - 2016 rules.  You should therefore be entitled to a pension based on those 5 or 6 / 30ths of the pre 2016 pension amount plus there is possibly another 3 years added to that for 16/17/18 and maybe some additional pension.  There is no 10 year minimum rule for 2010 to 2016 pensions.
