Helloooooo.
Well, havent spent anything so far - but did go to the doctors this morning & stock up on loads of freebie medications (have a medical exemption certificate - one of the advantages of having an underactive thyroid). I refuse to buy hayfever tablets in Boots or the like as they are SOOOOOO expensive...
Its payday next Wednesday (from 2nd job) and Thursday (from main job) - I have £45.00 to last me. Thats a fair amount, but i always seem to panic when my bank account hits less than £100. Managed to save £150 aswell which is fab. I WONT dip into my savings, not at all - see ive taken this money saving too far havent i?
Have salady stuff in the fridge at work, dont really fancy that, but will have to eat it up i suppose.
Received two tickets to see "A lot like love" tonight - an advanced screening, not sure if i can make it though - if i cant, would anyone else want the tickets (its for the UCI cinema in Greenwich)? Let me know, and if i cant make it they are all yours.
I hope you are all having good days today.

Hey
Its nice to see this thread back after the past couple of days!
I have £4.40 to last me till payday - next thursday!! It excludes grocery budget though so I won't starve!! I'm very determined to stick to my budget this month and once the month is over I may have a little left over from my grocery budget
Not going to spend anything today - have lots of food in the fridge at work for lunch and as the weather is so lovely here have been having lots of free evenings lazing in the park this week. I'm off to take lunch to the park now
Have a happy MSE day everyone!!0 -
Spent 79p on posting an item I sold on ebay. It sold for £3.25 and I charged £2.50 P&P on top, so quite happy about that.
Waiting for cheques / payments on a further £60 or so of stuff that had auctions finish last night.0 -
i spent £1.20 on a can of cherry coke, a tracker bar and a derby telegraph.
naughty i know, but it is really nice and i needed an excuse to go out to the shop in the sun!
wish i could sit in the park, not worth getting moaned at though!'What's poignancy grandad?'

I've finally got the hang of this budgeting business and keeping money aside for different purposes!! When I looked in my purse this morning I did have a moment of panic, a throw back to the old days when that really would have been all I had to live on!! Then I remembered my budget and that in reality I had plenty of money for food if I was sensible - and I felt dead chuffed with myself!!
Enjoy the park!0 -

Well, £1,332.62 has gone out of my current account today on debt repayment today (not my USUAL monthly amounts, I hasten to add - about 75% from the proceeds of changing the mortgage a couple of months ago to a repayment and cashing in a policy), so I'm not planning on doing any further spending today, or for the rest of the week for that matter.
Must confess, I VERY NEARLY did a quick unmissable bargain shop on boots.com but gave myself a stern talking to - even though I was only going to part with a fiver, I probaby don't actually NEED suncream until ?2007.0 -
So far today spent £0.00 and no plans to spend for the rest of the day (was quite naughty yesterday though and bought a CD so just as well we've had a couple of days off with this thread).
ms_london - if you've got a Wilkinson's near you they are doing a BOGOF offer at the moment on Galpharm hayfever tablets (£1.49 a packet normally) so only 74.5p for a week's worth of tablets. That's the cheapest I've found so far. Both cetirizine and loratidine ones were on offer.0 -
I just spent £3.30 on a Boots Meal Deal (25 ADVANTAGE CARD POINTS TOO) and also some free tampons (sorry, thats probably too much information, but its still money saving!!) :0) *blush*.
I didnt steal them, haha, the Advantage Card Machine had an offer "Get a pack of 16 free".......
I'll get my coat.
