That`s a lot of money on a cooker and a fridge, you should be able to get both, depending on what type of cooker we are talking about, an actual gas/electric cooker or just an oven, for under £500.

For example, an electric cooker on very.co.uk starts around £200, and a fridge can be bought on Amazon for less than £150, pays to shop around.

If money is tight, have you considered second-hand?  Things like this are often available on Gumtree, Facebook and the like, and it's possible to pick up some pretty good-quality stuff for a lot less than buying new.
Alternatively, do you happen to have one of those big British Heart Foundation furniture shops nearby?  We've bought quite a few things from them over the years - including a fridge - and they have all been really good quality for a fraction of the price they'd cost new.

Looking at the NW loan calculator £60pm over 5 years is for a £2600 loan at 14.9% APR.   Either OP is not receiving that rate or they are buying a couple of hellish expensive appliances !
