Hi All, recently had a tax code change regarding interest on savings. The amount HMRC says I have received seems much to high. If I call their helpline can they give me detail to back up the interest figure shown or am I wasting my time by asking? Thank you in advance.

My original post was just to establish if I could get the detail of the interest they said I had received by calling HMRC. That is all I needed to know. I have now spoken to them and it is all sorted now, and I have agreed what they said I owe. So my query is solved and am grateful for the help I have received from everyone.
