Doing well with the NSDs, small human helps as leaving the house is more effort.
Monthly top up shop came in at £138, but we only need milk bread and fruit weekly on top of that so quite pleased overall.
Couple of rainy days, so have sorted out all the things the eldest has outgrown into 2 piles, one to put back for the youngest and another to go on Vinted. Planning to start listing after May bank holiday, DP back at work and then we will be done with the endless rounds of appointments for the baby. Setting myself a target of 3 items per day listed. Not sure will net much of a boost to the OP fund, as you don't get much for kids clothes it seems but anything is a bonus and it will help the decluttering momentum too.
Forecast is for sun next week, so wanting to make a start on the somewhat neglected garden. DP cut the grass for me today, and I have a soil sieve that a relative didnt want anymore so need to make a start on removing all the gravel so can assess soil quality and then decide on plants. Also managed to score some trellis and fence paint on local buy nothing group, so would like to get fence painted and trellis attached, though we won't see much in the way of growing anything on that this year. Should be an MSE way to spend the nice weather whilst am off anyhow; between that and the 2 free baby groups a week I've found locally should be plenty to be going on with

Had first Maternity Allowance payment finally land, so chucked £100 at the mortgage as an OP.
Doing better than expected at this point, I think not knowing when it would be paid really helped me focus on not spending money unless I had to. Definitely a few too many packs of biscuits have made it into the trolley lately though; mind you DD is packing on the pounds so does take some feeding. Almost 14lb at 5 weeks old!
This does mean I really need to crack on with listing the outgrown stuff of Vinted, have a fair bit new with tags so fingers crossed for some quick sales.
Been gifted a copy of the Tightwads Gazette to read whilst off. 1000 pages, so should last a while and some really interesting frugal tips. Must try and find some time for the garden so we can enjoy it more and maybe grow some of our own veggies, but need to do so on a budget so must make a proper plan. At least we have the lovely sunshine to make the most of
