Although after this morning's hospital appointment, I feel like dunking my head in a vat of red wine!
The Consultant was pleased to tell me I didn't have cancer …. erm, yes I do, maybe not in the form of a mass in the last area you examined, but I've had Polycythemia Vera Jak2 for over 5 years, and that has been noted at each appointment in other departments, so you obviously haven't thoroughly read my notes. Complaint being drafted now. Grrr. She even admitted she didn't know what PV was. I gave her the kidult briefing (too many red blood cells, thicker blood, heightened risk of blood clots).

Sorry to read of that @satchmo1, how very frustrating and very unprofessional she was, not having read the notes thoroughly. Hope you’ve settled down now and are not stewing over that (although I suspect I would be!)
