26/25 for me today please.
Spent just over an hour helping DH "declutter" his crowd of coats (6 to go to the charity shop, but plenty more remaining), and 10 ties. He always knows exactly why he bought each item, how much it cost, and why he won't wear it anymore. There's still other areas to tackle, but it was a start, which is going to be beneficial for the charity shops
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?2 -
26/31 please

Hi cathybird, thank you for adding me to November, I will stick with the target of 27 you assigned me, thanks.
I hesitate to post about this as I’m conscious some posters might feel they are struggling to get to their targets or finding it hard in general to cut down. So this is not meant in a spirit of crowing about my own progress, but only to contribute to the thread and update myself more than anything.
Today is 200 days since I last had anything alcoholic to drink. That’s six months plus, more like six and a half months. I just take it month by month, or week to week really and it soon adds up. I have drunk on (I think) 11 days so far this year, with the last time back at the start of April.
I’ve posted about this before, but this is from someone who drank too much, for too long. It can be done. Not drinking can become a habit too.
Good luck to everyone who is trying to cut down.

No need to hesitate about posting @Season_of_Mist and I’m sure nobody on here would think that you are crowing about your achievement. You have done amazingly well and it is good to know that it is entirely possible to reverse the habit of drinking too much for too long.
