Interesting bit of stuff I read today that might be an incentive (might even work for me!!)
Alcohol is sugar that our liver has to process. Because it's busy doing that it can't process other sugars that we eat (whether that be chocolate cake or carbs in bread or potatoes or other veg). So the sugar is converted to fat that then gets stored (for some reason) mostly around our middles. So drinking won't necessarily help you lose weight even if you drinking stops you eating a lot. The less alcohol the more other sugars can be burned and there is less to store as fat.
Oh and apparently alcohol can contribute to problems like IBS and it enhances diarrhea.

Hi all! 21 today please. With Lewes FCs latest results (0-3, 0-5, 1-6) I may need a stiff drink after today's match but no! I'll resist!
