So trying to catch my breath now the madness if Christmas and New year has passed.
I have overcommitted my self in one of my jobs (not my main job) and it has caused me so much stress over the last few days! suddenly I had an Epiphany and reached out to them and said I wasn't going to get all the marking done on deadline! They were lovely and they have extended my deadline!
Doing my mortgage free plan has allowed me to see that I don't 'need' to accept every bit of work they offer and I need to find a balance!
Although I have been working hard I've also played with my budget, open and switched to NatWest to get the £200 bonus, and looked my expected self employed income prediction and I hope I can pay 7k into my ISA by the end of Jan. I'd like to get to an additional 15k by April to max out my ISA allowance that will give me a balance of just short of 29k by the end of Jan and 36k by the end of April. I'd like to have 40k saved by June so I can take a new mortgage of 100k. If i can't do it its not the biggest deal in the word but it's my current goal.
Plan to keep Jan spending down by using up freezer and cupboard stocks and doing dry Jan so no wine allowance
Off to read other peoples diaries for motivation2
