I keep gong around in circles looking for the income tax bands for 24/25. I can't seem to find them on HMRC website and google search is bringing up 2 different charts.
Would someone give me a link to the correct info preferably on the HMRC website please -
I'm fed up, irritated and simply don't have the patience to keep going round in circles!

Maybe tell us which part of the UK you are in....3

The big problem is there are 2 different ways of presenting basically the same information, likely the 2 different charts, but depending on what you actually want to know - you are due higher rate tax (in E, W & NI) on income above £50270 but will pay higher rate tax on income over £37700 above your coded allowance.1

Income Tax rates and Personal Allowances : Current rates and allowances - GOV.UK
For England and Wales, they haven't changed for a few years and not plan to change for another few (4 I think).
for Scotland : Income Tax in Scotland: 2024 to 2025 tax year - GOV.UK2 -
Thanks - it was exactly this !molerat said:The big problem is there are 2 different ways of presenting basically the same information, likely the 2 different charts, but depending on what you actually want to know - you are due higher rate tax (in E, W & NI) on income above £50270 but will pay higher rate tax on income over £37700 above your coded allowance.
I was too fed up to read the details and just glanced at the figures and assumed one chart had to be wrong.
