Good evening, Four NSD's notched up so far this month. Petrol and hair cut was the cause of two days being a spend day.
YS picked up by DH including half priced loin of pork roasting joint.
Had neighbour over to dinner today he made for us a lovely small wooden cat as a gift. He is going to make me three more that I can use as gifts. I'm swapping them for some home grown leeks. 😀🐾2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

Thank you! It will be interesting to see if that week's Olio listings included lemons. 😊
£88.01 was my total grocery spend last night after the second delivery. We had an Olio 'blitz', rescuing some baked goods, lettuce, yoghurt and some assorted veg then our food hero handed in leftovers for feeding to the animals. I'll be able to bribe our naughty goat with bread & carrots and hopefully survive another week without being head-butted! 😄
I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.
Original Frugal living challenge was living on £4000, but that's now equivalent to £6,845.15

'Not being head-butted' is the most original reason I've ever seen for using Olio…
I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

I make lemon marmalade every time I get a gluten from Olio and then trade it for other things. Most recently a jar of lemon marmalade in exchange for very well rotted chicken poopy wood chip left from when they moved their run. It's doing a great job filling up my raised beds!

Glut!! I even corrected that already!

Struck gold or G@ils in JL today. Their Christmas Panettone from £25 down to £2.50. We bought two.
Also picked up reduced salad items in W@itrose that we will have tonight with our h/m pizza. Lunch was left over veg and potato chopped up and cooked with a little left over chicken and gravy - hey presto - ultra processed free soup.

Question ❓:
How far people are travelling to pick up Olio food/items? The closest is my area seems to be 5-7 miles and often further away. My partner posed the question is it even worth it considering the drive and time etc. Are people perhaps more lucky to have it available nearer? Just wondering as very new to this.

I don't bother with Olio as the nearest to me is about 8 miles so not worth the time or petrol doing a 16 mile round trip.
