A Seasonal Thank You

I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and to say a big thank you to the stalwarts of this forum who continue to do so much to help so many people understand the intricacies of the UK pension environment.  This help is invaluable, not just to those who ask the questions, but the countless more who learn from the responses, even if they never post themselves. Not to mention the many friends and family members who go on to be helped by those who have learnt things on here, as the ripples of knowledge spread far and wide.

There must be countless families across the land in a far better financial state thanks to your tireless efforts.  I hope the knowledge of that gives you the warm glow you so richly deserve as you settle down to enjoy the holiday season, however you celebrate it.

Thank you and Merry Christmas.

I'd also like to echo those sentiments. This is a fantastic financial resource driven by the input of the users, so Merry Christmas and best wishes to all of us!

Another thank you from me.  I retired in January 2022 and wouldn't have had the confidence to do so without the information and discussion on this forum (together with the amazing information online from the likes of Pete Matthews (Meaningful Money), James Shack, Chris Bourne, Damien Talks Money and Pensioncraft).

The regulars on here are such a source of useful information and pointers for further research. Won't name any individuals for fear of forgetfully leaving some out but the depth of information and good nature and generosity of the contributions is hugely appreciated

Now if I could just get my head around linkers....
  • Well said.
You couldnt pay for the information and expertise offered on here by some incredibly knowledgable, experienced (and VERY patient) people.

Very well said. As one of the very many that read this subforum and learn from it (though rarely if ever post) I also extend my thanks. As the OP says, a lot of people learn so much from the kind and patient experts on here, and maybe even spread that knowledge further.
