It depends how old you are/ what other physical ailments you have are as to whether home visits/ district nurse is a concern. If things got bad enough that home visits were needed for the bipolar ime it would not be a GP doing them.

I would move GP. They rarely do home visits, just for the elderly, infirm and people so sick they can not physically get themselves to the practice in any way.
