If you look though they are different names which when you complain Lidl will say they are 'different' products.....

Dont shop there very often as the queues are too long, but the last time I was there the elderley man in front of me queried his receipt, after paying. He noticed that he was charged £19.98 for shaving foam, instead of £0.98. You always have to check your receipts.......in all the supermarkets.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Ireland Euros though, Britain pounds, so there's a difference, isn't there or have I got it wrong?

Are you not mixing up Southern Ireland with Northern Ireland in this case.

Had this before. Bought some insect lamps in belfast and found an ad for them in england £5 cheaper. Wrote to complain to head office in Belfast (at the time) and they basically said tough! thats the price. Because they insisted it was a different company in Northern Ireland and didn't work under the same pricing structure as the Mainland even though I said the Northern Ireland is part of the UK.

I would rather pay more for quality. Personally, I dont find them to be much cheaper than the other bigger supermarkets. The quality is certainly inferior.

Nope, those prices are in Sterling, they are the prices for Northern Ireland.

When did Lidl start hiking the prices up for us, I havn't noticed it before!

They are shooting themselves in the foot though, as the special offers are the only thing that gets most people to visit their store, lol.

I'll be making a point of informing as many people as I can of this, word of mouth hurts.

    Cheers, Des.
