IHT gift from a joint account, keeping simple records/etc

I appreciate the help/direction.

I am slowly digesting it all.
I have already made a list/dates of major gifts - it was realtively easy as app goes back a few years.
I'm aware re 3k, & 6k married couple allowance.
Thankfully, we passed the 7-year IHT rule a year ago so we don't need to bother with those.

Also, as I said, our incomes have been about the same, just a few percentage difference and we
still have dosh for rainy days and we have excess income every year unless
we buy a new car/etc ie major purchase.
