Venues in the sun

Hi all,
Am just thinking about wedding venues abroad as they are generally cheaper than here. Me and fiance met in Lindos, Rhodes where we might have got married but friends did it [STRIKE]this[/STRIKE] last year so am trying to think of somewhere different. Problem is a lot of friends have kids and therefore probably won't want to make my wedding their summer holiday and I don't really want kids there (don't flame me for it!). So am trying to think of a venue/location which would be suitable for a weekend break for friends without kids but still guranteed sunshine. France or Spain seem obvious but I've never holidayed there so don't know any suitable places. We both love Greece but that doesn't really suit the weekend break thing.
So any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks muchly! x

How about Certaldo Alto, it is in Italy, I think you fly to Pisa. It is beautiful, unspoilt medieval village, in the form of the classical walled city.Civil weddings are held in the open air town hall courtyard, one of the few open locations for a civil wedding in Italy. the flight isn't too long. A friend got married there last year, it looked stunning.
