New Year’s Eve is around the corner, and for many of us, it’s the big question: how will you be ringing in 2026?

Whether you’re planning a night out on the town, hosting a cosy gathering, or keeping things low-key, everyone has their own way of celebrating.

Some people love the buzz of fireworks and parties, while others prefer a quiet night in with a good film or an early bedtime. And of course, there are those who haven’t made any plans yet and might just see where the night takes them.

We’d love to know what your plans are! Cast your vote below and let us know in the comments how you’ll be spending New Year’s Eve this year.

As a young man I would always go to the local pub for NYE as everyone I knew was there and it was a great night.  But that was nearly 30 years ago.  Nowadays the pubs are packed with drunken louts and you're paying £6 a drink.  So we don't go out anymore.  And actually, there is always so much hype placed on NYE but it's just a chnage of date on the calendar!  As you get older you realise that new chapters and fresh starts can be made at any time of the year, and NYE like everything else has just become a commercial cash cow

I agree, I used to hate it with a passion, that societal pressure to celebrate it and be joyful and happy.  I just treat it like a normal day, never been happier.
