Every New Year I say this will be the worst year ever. Never been proved wrong yet.

I hope a ray of sunshine comes along.  ;)
    • The rich buy assets.
    • The poor only have expenses.
    • The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.

I've got at least 6 spreadsheets organised on a calendar year basis, so I'll be busy doing the switch-over.  o:)
I might look at one or more of the New Year specials, if I find the time.

Never sure what is so special about an arbitrary count to be fair.
I like the fireworks though, but from the comfort of my sofa.
The count is arbitrary, but the change in the year is real (although the proper date for it would be the solstice - December 21st/22nd). From now on, for the next six months, there will be more natural light every day.  Some people need a party to dispel the S.A.D. and changing the calendar is as good an excuse as any.

I'll be checking over the income tax return I started on Christmas Day.
