Every New Year I say this will be the worst year ever. Never been proved wrong yet.1

I've got at least 6 spreadsheets organised on a calendar year basis, so I'll be busy doing the switch-over.
I might look at one or more of the New Year specials, if I find the time.Eco Miser

The count is arbitrary, but the change in the year is real (although the proper date for it would be the solstice - December 21st/22nd). From now on, for the next six months, there will be more natural light every day. Some people need a party to dispel the S.A.D. and changing the calendar is as good an excuse as any.horsewithnoname said:Never sure what is so special about an arbitrary count to be fair.I like the fireworks though, but from the comfort of my sofa.
