i recently contacted btps re cashing in for a lump sum they replied

Unfortunately, the value of your current pension benefits is more than the £30,000 limit allowed by

HMRC for this kind of one-off lump sum. This means you aren’t eligible for a trivial commutation

payment.i am 65 and my pension is approx £650 a month, my question is can i sell my pension as
i need money to pay off some debts thanks

No, if this pension is in payment then you cannot turn it into a lump sum, and certainly cannot sell it.
