Disney Store - Bargains

I was in the Disney Store in West Quay Southampton today and they were reducing stuff to sill prices! Particulary Pirates Of The Carribean things, som items from £20 down to £3 and £4 for eg. Lots of other things too, all at better than half price, i left with 2 huge bags of stuff, lovely items for presents throughout the year. I would imagine this is nationwide, apologies if this is posted already.

    Fantastic! Just ordered 2 new stocking/sack ... £4

Spent ages searching for a store which had these in stock before christmas when they were £15 each!

    Thanks

  • im really annoyed with the disney store as spent ages in the southampton one waiting to find out if they had any of the big minnies left and they eventually said i could order it online so i got lots of instore reductions while i was there (half of which are overcharged on my receipt) and came home to order the minnie and a few other bits - 9 days on still no delivery and the money for the minnie has gone back in my account today as they have been recalled as the buttons come off?? - somehow i dont think my six year old will understand that lol so if anyone has one of the bigger minnies that were down from £25 to £12.50 and want to sell it please let me know :) thats the only thing she actually asked for for her birthday :(
  • if its been recalled why wud you want to give it to your daughter? theres obvously a choking hazard if the buttons are coming off and as much as a kid wanted something i wouldnt give them something dangerous. and i certainly wouldnt sell a person a teddy that they were going to give to their child knowing this -i would never forgive myself if something happened when i knew it was dangerous but still gave it to them because they really wanted it -take most children into a toy shop and they want something else. just my opinion tho

Hmmm - but surely the other poster KNOWING about the button issue could ensure that buttons are sewn on properly .... Disney are just being prudent which is great but if a problem is only one where buttons may come off then i am sure its a problem which could be rectified - no need to make comment on the parenting skills of others lol!
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?

  • hmmm maybe the fact that she is just about to turn 7 i could hopefully trust her not to put a button in her mouth and choke on it
how many buttons have you lost from your clothes?? i lose them all the time but imagen if the shops wouldn't sell me clothes as i have kids who MIGHT choke on the buttons if they should fall off

but i do get your point, i would of cut them off as they are only on the jacket of her outfit i think :D

thanks for the heads up with the site though ^, might pop into the crawley one tomorow to have a little peek
