If you opt to move and sell up then you'll need to either port the mortgage (presuming that's possible) or take a fresh mortgage out for your new property.

Nothing for now with the mortgage.
1. Start applying for jobs in London. If you get one, then re-fix your mortgage in June.
2. If you don't and decide to move then sell the property next Summer and start looking for properties to buy in Huntingdon.
3. If you find a property to buy, then port and refix your mortgage (come back here for help depending on how the timing plays out).
4. If you don't find one then sell, pay off the mortgage in Oct and find a rental in Huntingdon - it'll give you some time to get a feel for the area and flexibility in case you want to move back.0
