Hi, I last made a payment to Admiral in November 2024.
The Default letter and note of default on my credit file happened in April 2025.
i have received a letter today stating an arrears amount of 12 months missed payments and that if I don’t pay, they will default me…
Should I sit tight or write to correct them that I already have confirmation of default in April?? I have the letter filed and will take a screenshot of my credit file.
I haven’t made any payments as this is the first correspondence since the default.

You cannot be defaulted twice, it`s likely they have used a generic letter template when writing to you.

Trickling along but could have been better…hubby and I have plan from January salary. We’ve had a couple of unexpected expenses…storm damage recently…car problem but would have normally put them on a CC…so see this as a positive1

It is/was. If you can fund any unexpected costs, well done. And look at the categories and work out if you need to allocate more to them?allystar said:Trickling along but could have been better…hubby and I have plan from January salary. That's brilliant progress - well done! As bothersome as those sort of expenses are, it's a nice feeling to know that the money was there to cover them thanks to your budgeting efforts, isn't it!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
