I would imagine they would just have to follow the same rules as supermarket deliveries, ie: early slots no alcohol can be included in the order.molerat said:I wonder how they get round the 10am and 10pm rule for products shipped from Scotland - do they deliver anything before 10am ?
I have been using Waitrose Cellar for a few years now, mainly for convenience and price and have found it a good shopping experience.
Too late for this year but around the end of October the beginning of November they usually offer 25% off ,on orders of six bottles or more which I find a good way of getting wine in for the festive season or as stocking fillers. Also gives you a bit of variety from what you find on your local shelves.Play with the expectation of winning not the fear of failure. Certainly the Amazon/Morrisons instant shopping delivery thing follows the 10-to-10 rules on booze supply.Eldi_Dos said:

If you had a bottle of Voddy in amongst a bunch of other stuff in a normal Amazon delivery I can't imagine that they'd do exception processing just in case it was to be delivered at 09:30am or 10:15pm.
Mind you, I believe that Amazon have quite a big computer and if they wanted to they could.1 -

When I am doing online shop with Morrisons and have a early slot selected ( click and collect or delivered) the system will not let you include any alcohol in the order.
I would imagine all other retailers will be the same.Play with the expectation of winning not the fear of failure. S.Clarke0 -
If its any consolation, minimum unit pricing will come to England in the next few years - not to protect our livers, but to keep pubs afloat. The disparity in the cost of drinks out encourages us to stay in atm.No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.2
