I know, its a real pain, but, just one of those things I guess. Keep telling my self it could have been worse :)

Its tough! Also realised its my nieces 18th 😂 but, once Feb is done there are no more big birthdays for a while so I am trying to frame is as a good thing.
Yeah, the graphs definitely help, I have been trying to map out as much of my financial situation as possible, as realising its not all bad, and seeing how things could go if I am disciplined is really helping with the mindset.Especially at the beginning of the journey which is firmly where i am right now.Halifax CC - £2591 / £2591.41

Sunday update! Payday has been and gone, and the momentary feeling of having a few quid in my pocket is long gone 🤣
Expensive month with multiple birthdays, also had to goto London for work and managed to spend a small fortune on precisely nothing, a trip to gregs and whetherspoons after a long meeting cost me a small fortune.
Have been really pushing the limits of my budgeting skills currently, as my Son wants to do more football training, so I am trying to find another £100 in the budget to cover this. Its tough, and will put a bit of a strain on, but its really important for him so I am determined to make it work.
Works has been tough over the last few weeks, and I have sadly been slipping into some old, comfortable, but ultimately bad habits. Buying convienience food and drinking too much wine, has definitely made a larger dent in the monthly budget than I would have liked. But, I think I have caught it before it gets too ingrained, and I am determined to go into the next week more focused and sensible.
Have made loads more progress on my budgeting app too, I am really finding the visualizations and data views to be really helpful in understanding where my money is going each month, particularly like the new sankey chart I made 🙂Have had a productive weekend, fence fixed properly now, steam cleaned the downstairs floors and carpet cleaned upstairs, so the house is smelling good and is all nice and clean, all ready forr a productive and frugal week!

I have tried to have as many no spend days as I can this month, and so far I have managed…. 1 🤣
Thankfully a lot of the days I have spent its been on the low side, and have generally not exceeded my "daily" Allowance. Managed to get a real bargain on my youngest sons birthday presents, he is mad on King King vs Godzilla. They toys he wanted came to about £100 in Smyths, but managed to hunt down the same toys for £10 cheaper online, so the saved money has gone off a credit card.
Small wins, but feels nice to have themHalifax CC - £2591 / £2591.41
