Another old person here, and have experienced years where they have run outIf freezer space is limited, is there nothing in there you could "sacrifice" to make space, maybe cook something days earlier and put it to one side? When an eel bites your bum, that's a Moray1

It's pot luck. Most stores will order weekly, and they have to guess how many they will sell; they don't want too many left over but they don't want to run out. When I worked in a local Co-Op, we had 4 left one xmas eve, so the manager redcued them to £2.50. I took 2 home and my dad boned and rolled them (fnar fnar). Can you not run the rest of your freezer down to make space? Or you might just have to comit to driving around on xmas eve until you find what you need1

A few years a ago there was a big fight in the carpark of Morries ( I think) over the last turkey in the store . It made national news at the time. Forward planning was obviously not their forte. Hate to think what the turkey looked like afterwards lol probably quite well tenderised

Is there a kind neighbour who would allow you to use their freezer. If there's room of course.2
