My broker got us a DIP from Kensington last month. We have now agreed a purchase and send him all our documents today (ID, 6 months wages, 6 months bank statements etc) from looking online we fit the criteria for the Select products. Just wondering if a DIP usually leads into a full offer or are they known for declines? Also do they score there products individually by this I mean they currently have 95% LTV product with £2000 fees at 5.96% would the criteria for this be the same as 95% LTV no fees which is 6.51%

The criteria would be the same for each product within that block so to speak.
The only thing that might change is the affordability.
If you fit criteria and your bank statements are ok, then you should be fine. I dont use Kensington much anymore (no particular reason, they have just not cropped up), but generally speaking for the last 6-7 years they have been alright. Prior to that, they were one of the worst lenders I had ever dealt with but it was almost like one night someone came in and said "Why dont we try being alright rather than trying to give everyone high blood pressure?" And it worked.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
