Consolidating pension pots - can I only transfer these as cash?

It will be a tiny cost saving, but you will be out of the market for about a week to ten days.   Market movements over that period could take you many years or even a decade or two to recover.

Not saying its not worth doing but just adding that it could cost you in other ways.
