Link Financial - Destroyed Postal Order and no CCA?

Hi

it’s me again!

I received a response from Link Financial after they received my CCA request letter.

They just said that they have destroyed the Postal Order but no mention about my request.

How should I move forward with this?

Cease payments if you haven't done so already and wait for them to supply the CCA. It's still their move, don't chase them - that is not your responsibility.

It's common for the fee not to be required, presumably it's not worth their while cashing them, but it's a bit cheeky to not send it back to you when they are sending you a letter anyway.

The balls in their court now, so don't make any more payments until they send you the cca.

Ah that’s what a thought. I just wasn’t sure if I needed to do anything else.

a bit bizarre that they just ignored it lol

It's the typical sort of behaviour for this kind of company. They say as little as they can get away with and try and obscure the truth to take advantage of people that don't understand the process.
