Has anyone else noticed a change today when using network rail card on Greater Anglia.
Before today 1/3 discount taken off the on peak or off peak fare. From today even if travelling off peak the discount is applied only on the full fare if returning at peak time. Before so long as travelled out off peak saving was applied whatever time of return
On my route from bishops Stortford to Liverpool Street this equates to a rise from £18:40 to £22:75 or 24%

You know the prices changed on the 7 December because contactless is coming, they are now single leg priced and there is a peak restriction 16.00 - 19.00 coming out of London.
I'm not sure on all the railcard terms but this might have something to do with it?
For my commute it now saves me money on days I stay later in London and can travel back after 7pm as don't need to get an anytime return and can now do a peak single in and an off-peak single back.0
